Allyson Beatrice became fascinated with children’s books when her nephew Gavin and niece Neavie
were born. She made a deal with her sister-in-law that the kids could never be spoiled by too many
books, and set out to build a library for her niece and nephew. She hopes that SAM will be a worthy
bedtime story for them, and is anxiously awaiting their reviews.
Allyson lives in Los Angeles with a paranoid cat named Ruby, a neurotic dog named Mona, and a
patient roommate named Kristen.
